Review: Dream Date with a Millionaire by Melissa McClone (2009 New Author Challenge)

millionaire From the back of the book:

I’ll go on this one date, and if nothing comes of it that’s good, isn’t it?

Dani Bennett isn’t looking for a man, but her new job requires her to sign up to blinddatebrides.com. The last thing Dani expects is to be paired with a devastatingly attractive millionaire! Her poor background and blonde-bombshell looks mean she expects Bryce Delaney to take one look and judge her – like all other men.

But Bryce isn’t just any man…

This is the third book in the mini-series Blind Date Brides from Harlequin Romance. I didn’t read the first two, but didn’t need to in order to enjoy this book.

Dani is a very independent woman. After watching her mother have to hold down multiple jobs to take care of her and her siblings after their father left, she swore she would never depend on a man to take care of things for her. Life has thrown her one curve ball after another, but she keeps on going. That is my favorite thing about Dani, her perseverance.

Bryce is the founder of blinddatebrides.com. He is a millionaire and comes from a wealthy family, but understands Dani’s need to be able to take care of herself.

These two have chemistry instantly, even though neither of them wants to be dating – anyone.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a very fun read and emotionally satisfying as far as the romance.

the book girl gives DREAM DATE WITH A MILLIONAIRE 4/5!
