I have the show DVR’d, and I’m waitiny for a time when I’m not so busy to watch them. I’m hoping I can get a break from homework, cleaning, etc, to at least check out the first episode. I would love to read the books.. I hate watching a series(TV) based on a series(Books) without reading them. So enter me, please!

My daughter loves the show too. She’s also got me watching True Blood. Vampire Diaries looks to be even better than that. I haven’t read t he book but heard it was great.

I’m wondering if it’s going to be one of those intances when a book is made into a movie/tv show but it feels totally difference than the book. I hope not!

I catched a rerun of the premiere (I was working that night!) and it was surprisingly not bad! LOL I haven’t read the book though but now I’m really curious.

I have not watched this show yet, I didn’t know about it. I may have to check it out. I have not read the book series either, but it sounds very interesting.

I’m already hooked! I also saw Vampire Diaries lead actress Nina Dobrev in a 2008 TV movie Never Cry Werewolf this past weekend!
