I admit, part of me was a bit horrified at first. I think if he had done a bit more than just changing such a small portion of the text I'd be better with it. I was going to give it a chance since I'd heard so many great reviews about it but when I picked it up in the store one day and opened to a random page I just couldn't bring myself to read it. The part I read? It's the part when Elizabeth is acknowledging that her dad isn't without flaws, and in this version mentions how on their trips he'd take an oriental to his bed. (As close as I can remember but not an actual quote.) Killed it for me. I love that lately you find it shelved with the kid books instead of the adult books. ;) I'm very scared to pick up sea monsters.
