Review and Giveaway: My Soul to Save by Rachel Vincent

my-soul-to-saveBook Synopsis:

Book 1 of The Soul Screamers series — My Soul to Takewas released this past summer, and readers found out why Kaylee Cavanaugh screams bloody murder when someone’s about to die.

In Book 2 – My Soul to Save – when teen pop star Eden croaks on stage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul.

The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls for a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can’t possibly understand.

Kaylee can’t let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk.

My Review: This is book #2 in the Soul Screamer series and it doesn’t disappoint. Kaylee is adjusting to her new life – living with her father and dealing with not being quite human. Six weeks have past since the last book finished and Kaylee and Nash are still going strong. I really like this couple – they lean on each other and work together. Even when Nash isn’t happy with what Kaylee wants to do he supports her.  This books finds Kaylee fighting to save a soul and trying not to lose hers at the same time. My Soul To Save is a fast paced adventure.

love Rachel’s Shifter series. She write such strong characters that you can’t help get sucked into the stories.

I was happy to share a name with the protagonist of Soul Screamers.

I’ve never read Rachel Vincent, but I am always hearing great things! Hopefully I’ll get to sample one of the books for free!
