From the back of the book:
THE RULES:
A lady should always make polite conversation…
Theresa Weller understands the rules of decorum, and is appalled when Colonel Bartholomew James disrupts a perfectly civilized dinner. This rude, insensitive man is the complete opposite of everything a gentleman should be - but with one searing kiss, Tess can think of no one else.
A lady should never lose her temper…
Aggravated beyond bearing by a man who speaks his mind, Tess wishes there was a guide to men like Bartholomew. Surely, with such an assortment of handsome, polite suitors to choose from, Tess should not ache for him.
And a lady should never pursue a gentleman.
She invited him on carriage rides and dares him to dance, and almost makes him want to return to Society. Bartholomew knows Tess wants to be seen as a proper miss, but deep down, he knows she is precisely the sort to spark his desire…A most improper lady.
A LADY’S GUIDE TO IMPROPER BEHAVIOR is a funny and sweet read. I loved both Tessa and Tolly. They are a study is how opposites attract. Tolly (Bartholomew) is an injured man who is going through some of the toughest times in his life. He creates a scandal wherever he goes and isn’t going to be scandal free for some times. Tessa lives her life by the rules she wrote in a pamphlet on proper behavior for ladies. She would never be part of a scandal or fall in love with someone who would. But love doesn’t work that way and Tessa discovers it might be more fun to be improper with the right man than proper with the wrong one. Everything about this book was fun! The dialogue is witty and the romantic moments hot! I can’t wait to read more in this series.
the book girl gives A LADY’S GUIDE TO IMPROPER BEHAVIOR a 5/5!!
