I’ve been waiting for Lydia’s story since I read HOW TO TEMPT A DUKE. I was so heartbroken for her when Fitz died and couldn’t wait to see just exactly she would learn to love again. I had a feeling she would be paired with Tanner and I was right! There is a lot of emotional stuff that happens in this book. Lydia first had to deal with her twin not being by her side all the time and then her changing feelings for Tanner. I loved the way that this couple fell in love. It isn’t an instantaneous thing for Lydia and Tanner understands how he needs to give her time and space to come to terms with everything. Adding in an adventure for the not-so-adventurous Lydia definitely helped move the story along, but I wasn’t real fond of that part of the story. This was a fantastic ending to the trilogy about this family.
