From the back of the book:
HE CAN’T REMEMBER…
Olivia Grace has every reason to despise Jack Wyndham, Earl of Gracechurch, who scandalously married and then divorced her, ruining her completely. Yet when she finds an injured Jack on a battlefield wearing the enemy’s uniform, she can’t resist saving him. He might have broken her heart, but can he truly be a traitor?
WHAT SHE’LL NEVER FORGET…
When Jack awakes he is shocked to discover that he has lost Olivia’s love – and much of his memory. Did he really destroy their marriage? And what do his dreams of blood-soaked French uniforms and revenge mean? As the noose of danger tightens around them, Jack and Olivia must determine which is most frightening: the threat of the hangman, their own tempestuous history, or the passion that flares between them once again.
This was my first book by Eileen Dreyer and I loved it! BARELY A LADY is a fantastic romance from a different perspective. I don’t think I’ve ever read a historical romance about a divorced couple. Olivia is living as a companion under an assumed name and trying desperately not to be recognized. Jack is fighting in the war, but when Olivia finds him on a battle field he is wearing a French military coat and is unconscious. I love how Olivia takes care of someone who has destroyed her life. It shows an immense strength to her character. The demise of their marriage is something that they both haven’t come to terms with and I loved reading how they find their way back to each other. I do think that Olivia forgives a little too easily given what Jack has done, but that is part of her nature. Along with this couples romance there is the question of why Jack was wearing the French coat and why some nefarious people are looking for him. This book has is all – romance, espionage, and intrigue.
the book girl gives BARELY A LADY a 5/5!

I normally dislike books about couples reuniting, but Barely a Lady was wonderful. I was looking forward to reading it, because of how much I enjoyed Dreyer’s books written as Kathleen Korbel. I’m now anxiously awaiting Grace’s story.
It sounds like a lovely plot – a sweet romance. Haven´t read anything by this author. It would be great to win this book . I wish…..:)
