Texas Cattleman’s Club Rule #1: Always Act Honorably

Duty is his world. And upon seeing Sadie Price with twin girls, marine Rick Pruitt realizes he has some proposing to do. He never would have left Royal, Texas, if he’d known Sadie was carrying his babies.

Yet the feisty single mom has no intention of agreeing to a loveless marriage. True, she and Rick share a bond, as well as undeniable passion. But Sadie believes vows should last a lifetime, not be declared out of obligation. Making it Rick’s new mission to change her mind…

ONE NIGHT, TWO HEIRS is a sweet, romantic book. After a wild night together, Rick and Sadie haven’t seen each other for three years. His life as a marine has stayed the same, while hers has been anything but normal. I loved the chemistry between this couple. From the very beginning of the book they practically burn the page. Rick’s instant dedication to his daughters makes him irresistible. They only problem I had with this book was the set-up for future books in the series. The scenes with Sadie’s brother and the other Texas Cattleman’s Club members toward the end of the book seemed out of place and pulled me away from the love story between Rick and Sadie. Overall, I enjoyed this read and will definitely pick up more books in the series.

the book girl gives ONE NIGHT, TWO HEIRS a 4/5

  1. Hmm…why does the author name seem so familiar? I swear I’ve read others by her. Sounds like a pretty good one tho the sequel set-up seems a little awkward. I hate when that happens.
