Review: Immortal Ever After by Lynsay Sands

About the book:

A kiss doesn’t mean eternity . . .

Valerie Moyer doesn’t believe in vampires—until she is kidnapped by a fanged psychopath! After escaping her bloodthirsty captor, she’s through with creatures of the night. Until she finds herself under the protection of the darkly handsome Anders. Not only is she expected to accept that Anders is immortal, but also that she is the woman destined to be his life mate!

. . . Or does it?

Anders felt a connection to Valerie from the moment he cradled her bruised body in his arms. But before he claims her, he must destroy the vampire who almost stole her from him forever. His job would be easier if Valerie didn’t fight him every step of the way. Still, Anders loves a challenge, and the green-eyed beauty is worth fighting for!

The one thing I really like about the Argeneau series is that even if you have missed a book (or a few books) you can jump right back in and not feel lost. The world is easy to follow. IMMORTAL EVER AFTER is the story of Enforcer Anders and kidnap victim Valerie. I loved Valerie. She is tough, strong, and independent. Instead of waiting to be rescued she rescues herself on more than one occasion. Anders, who is as alpha as they come, finds this to be one of her best qualities. I really liked that he admired her more than he lusted after her in the beginning. The attraction between the two came from respect as much as it did from their appearance. The story is sexy, action-packed, and fun. IMMORTAL EVER AFTER is a fabulous addition to the Argeneau series and a fantastic read.

the book girl gives IMMORTAL EVER AFTER a 4/5

  1. Sounds like a good read if you’re into vampires but unfortunately, vampire books do nothing for me. *sigh*
