Review: Flirting Under a Full Moon by Ashlyn Chase

About the book:

Never Cry Werewolf

Brandee has been dumped in every way possible, but by text is the last straw. That’s it—she’s officially done with men. Unfortunately, she’s just been told her “soul mate” is the drool-worthy hottie all her friends call One-Night Nick.

Nick has been searching for true love for one hundred years. After all, werewolves mate for life, and he does not want to mess this up. As soon as he kisses Brandee, he knows she’s the one. But how will he convince a woman who knows nothing of paranormals that she’s about to be bound to a werewolf forever?

FLIRTING UNDER A FULL MOON is well written story with a hero and heroine that just didn’t work for me. Nick is the ultimate alpha male and at times he does things for Brandee’s “own good” that make him come across as a jerk. Brandee gets mad at him, but then he kisses her and all is forgiven. She doesn’t have much of a backbone. Nick goes from someone with the nickname “One-Night Nick” because of all his one night relationships to wanting to commit 100% to Brandee. Brandee doesn’t believe him at first and then BAM! she’s under his spell. There was no question of things not going Brandee and Nick’s way. Every situation Nick was in he was able to get out of easily and when they found themselves wondering about their future it was solved for them in a very convenient way. There was no mystery to the story. I loved the author’s writing style and the humor of the story, but the characters just didn’t work for me.

the book girl gives FLIRTING UNDER A FULL MOON a 3/5
