About the book:

England’s “vampire craze” causes much vexation for the Lord Vampire of London, Ian Ashton. To save his reputation, Ian enlists aspiring authoress Angelica Winthrop without realizing she has hidden plans of her own.

Angelica Winthrop’s life goal is to ruin her reputation, avoid marriage, and become a gothic authoress like her idol, Mary Shelley. To find inspiration for her new story, she breaks into the home of Ian Ashton, Duke of Burnrath, not knowing she will be coming up against the Lord Vampire of London. Romance sparks and reputations are at stake. But who knows the real difference between fact and fiction?

I have a weakness for paranormal historical romances. I really like the idea of a vampire dancing a waltz with a lady in a gorgeous dress. BITE ME, YOUR GRACE is a fantastic paranormal historical romance with a very unusual heroine. Angelica doesn’t want to settle for just being someone’s wife and the mother of his children. She wants to be able to pursue her own passion for writing. When she stumbles upon an actual vampire during her home invasion she knows that she’s hit a jackpot of inspiration. I loved how unique Angelica is and how she doesn’t let anyone change her, even when she is afraid that Ian is going to leave her. She isn’t willing to compromise her true self for anyone. Ian is great too. He’s in charge of all the vampires in London, but is completely taken down by his feelings for Angelica. The big, bad vampire is really a softy when it comes to the woman he loves. Their romance is sweet, sexy, and full of passion. I loved the book and can’t wait for the next one in the series.

the book girl gives BITE ME, YOUR GRACE a 4/5

I just picked this up from the library today — not my usual type of read (not a big an of anything paranormal) but this one sounded like fun!
