I enjoyed this book, but not as much as I thought I would. I really liked both of the characters, but so much time is spent talking about where they are going and consulting their map. I got really tired of reading the “how” of their journey. I wish there had been less focus on the map and more on the romance developing between Eliza and Jeremy. I loved how simple their romance is. It evolves naturally between them since they are together day and night. The kidnapping plot is pretty much the same as what happened with her sister, Heather, and really not the focus of the story. I can’t wait to find out what happens with the third Cynster sister - Angelica - in the next book.

I really enjoyed this book. Gabe and Virginia are a fantastic couple. I really enjoyed the way that they complete each other. Like Gabe says in the end: She is the light to his dark. I also loved how the reader gets to learn more about the mystery of the death of the Sharpe children’s parents. I have loved this series from the beginning and can’t wait to read the conclusion later this month!

I have been waiting to read Silence’s story since I read WICKED INTENTIONS. I bought the book when it came out and then it was buried in the tbr pile. When I came across it last week I put it on top and couldn’t wait to start reading.  I wasn’t disappointed. The romance between Silence and Mickey is different from the typical historical romance and so very romantic. Mickey is an interesting character. I was predisposed to hate him for what he did to Silence in WICKED INTENTIONS, but I couldn’t help but fall in love with him just like Silence. He is a character with so many different layers and when they were all discovered what was left was an amazing man head over heels in love. Silence is also more than I originally thought she was. I misjudged her as being a little weak and a boring int eh first two books of the series. In reality she is incredibly strong and in charge. I loved this book and cannot wait to read Winter’s book. I won’t be letting it get lost in the pile for sure.

I really enjoyed this book. Phoebe and Julian are an entertaining couple. I loved their back and forth banter and the way that they talked to each other in a way that was unique for both of them. The story moves at a great pace and the building up of the relationship between Phoebe and Julian is fantastic. There is so much sexual tension between the two characters. Julie Anne Long is really great at building the tension between her characters. If you are a fan of the Pennyroyal Green series you are sure to enjoy this book.

THE ACCIDENTAL COURTESAN is a delightful historical romance. I found both Gavin and Noelle to be great characters. Noelle is spontaneous and often doesn’t think through what she is doing. Gavin is a fantastic hero - he takes care of Noelle and tries to protect her virtue (even when she is the one making the moves). The plot is fantastically developed and I was surprised by who was after Noelle and Gavin. I enjoyed the first book in this series and liked this one even more.

I adored this book. Charlie and Daisy are both totally lovable (even if they make some questionable decisions throughout the book). I loved the romance that developed between the two and their chemistry is immediate and off the charts. The plot is fun and moves at a great pace. The Cinderella feel of the book was enchanting. I found Daisy’s stepmother and “evil” stepsisters funny and entertaining even though they were mean and spiteful toward Daisy. One of my favorite parts of the book was the epilogue. We get to see a glimpse into the future lives of Charlie, Daisy, and the other Impossible Bachelors and their wives. I’m a little sad that this is the last book in the Impossible Bachelors series. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Kramer writes next!
