Someone asked if I was going to list the books I got at RomCon. I wish I had thought about doing that before I put them away. I group my books by genre and honestly can’t remember which one’s I got at the conference and which ones I bought. The book I was the most excited about getting was an advanced copy of Elizabeth Hoyt’s next book - WICKED INTENTIONS. I read it on the plane ride home - It was fantastic!!

Today I’m leaving for ROMCON! I’m very excited to be going to my first readers conference. The actual conference doesn’t start until Friday, but because of flight stuff I’m arriving two days early. I’m planning on spending all of Thursday reading without kid interruption! I will post a detailed post with pictures and such next Tuesday and will be twittering updates (@thebookgirl). I hope that the wi-fi in the hotel is reliable so that I can post contest winners on Sunday, but if it is not then I will post them next Tuesday.

I hope everyone has a great 4th. My husband does a firework show for his restaurant every year, so the kids and I will be going to that. He does a fantastic job! I will try and take some video to post tomorrow. What are you doing for the 4th?

THE WOLF NEXT DOOR is the third book in the Westfield brothers trilogy. I think that this book was the best out of the three. William and Prisca are obviously meant for each other and I loved their squabbles back and forth. I also really liked that we got to see the whole family together. In the previous two books William was with either Simon or Benjamin, but never were the three brother’s together. There were a few times when I did not like Williams actions in regard to Prisca, but they were always very genuine to the character. The dialog and the story both move at a fast pace and kept me reading way late into the night. I found this book, and the previous two, to be fantastic additions to the historical romance genre.
