MISS HILLARY SCHOOLS A SCOUNDREL is a debut historical romance. I adored this book. Lana and Drew are fantastic characters. There were parts of the story that were a little far-fetched, but I loved every word of the book. Lana is a fun heroine - she is smart and spunky. Drew is quite the hero - he’s been a bad boy in the past, but once he finds the woman of his dreams he changes his way. I loved the way these two banter and flirt with each other. MISS HILLARY SCHOOLS A SCOUNDREL is a very sweet and romantic read that fans of historical romance will love.

I loved this book. It is sizzling. The chemistry between Mark and Rainey is amazing. From the moment these two see each other again after two years there is a pull between them. I loved that the conflict in their relationship was more internal than external. Mark and Rainey both haven’t been in a serious relationship before and neither of them really know what they want from the other one. TIME OUT is an electric read that any fan of Jill Shalvis with love.

Mini-review: FIRELIGHT is part historical romance and part paranormal romance. It has a very Gothic feel. The story is entertaining and there is a twist that shocked me in the end. FIRELIGHT isn’t like any book that I’ve read before. This book is written so well and I wanted to know more about Archer and Miranda. Even if you aren’t a huge fan of paranormal romance you should check out this book.

Mini-review: I really enjoyed this book. The romance between Lyra and Jaden is fantastic. They have a forbidden type of love and the way it progressed was fantastic. The only thing that I could have done without was some of the paranormal politics. I found the pack stuff interesting, but not all of the inter-dynasty stuff.

I wanted this book to be longer. The story is complete and fantastic - I wanted more. A WALTZ AT MIDNIGHT is set in post-civil war America. I haven’t read anything else in this time period and I was fascinated. The relationship between Susanna and Teddy is sweet. I loved the letters that they pass back and forth. I can’t wait to read more by this author. I’m hoping for more set in this time period too.

Margot and Roy Lee have to work through things before they can begin their future. MARGOT’S LAWMAN is a quick, sweet story.

KISS ME, I’M IRISH is a fun anthology featuring three previously released novellas by Roxanne St. Claire, Jill Shalvis, and Maureen Child. All three stories are fantastic.
The Sins of His Past, by Roxanne St. Claire, features one of my favorite tropes (best friends little sister) done a little differently. The hero and heroine have an emotional past and he’s finally wised up to know that he let something fantastic get away.
The characters in Tangling with Ty are full of spirit and kept me fully engrossed. I felt that they were a little different from the heroes/heroines that Shalvis has been writing lately and liked the difference.
Whatever Reilly Wants, by Maureen Child, has another one of my favorite tropes (friends to lovers). I absolutely loved the heroine - Emma. I also really liked that the characters undergo growth in the process of falling in love.
KISS ME, I’M IRISH is a fun anthology that will delight contemporary romance fans when it’s released in February.
